Random Thursday (ˈrandəm ˈTHərzdā): the day on which Sarah plunks down all the odd bits and pieces she’s been sent by friends or has otherwise stumbled upon this week in an effort to avoid writing a real post, the assembly of which usually ends up taking twice as much time as sitting down and creating actual content.
Watson sent me the first one, Kev sent me the Stormtroopers.
I’ve no idea where the last one came from . . . afraid to ask, really.

Just Go With It
And then listen again with your eyes closed, ’cause the music is that good.
Both song and video are from the brain of the insanely talented ScottDW and many of his equally insane friends.
The behind the scenes video is excellent.

“Want to see some more?”
Oh, God, yes.
The boys have finally reached the U.S. and I’m very, very happy about it.
Love the cameos, love the characterizations, love the nods to fanfic, love the headbutt, love the goldfish jab.
Hate Molly’s new boyfriend, but that’s just a Lestrade-admiration byproduct.
Love, love, love.
You?

Dear lord. I’m going to have a nightmare mash-up tonight where the storm troopers are twerking with that rubber guy at the end. He freaks me OUT!
Thanks for passing along that mental image, Averil—Gah!
That rubber guy is just . . . he’s . . .words fail.
I can’t stop watching the Storm Trooper video. I’m alternating between the finished product and the behind the scenes montage. Amazing. I want to be on that set with my own camera! It’s kismet, Sarah. Today is my birthday and my son’s birthday. He has been all about Star Wars since we finally let him watch the first episode. His party included 8 boys whacking the hell out of each other with inflatable pink light sabers. This is the video I plan on showing him when he gets home. Thank you. Today is starting out brilliantly. xoxo
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MSB and SON OF MSB!!
Glad to have been of help, if help it was. 😀
Have either of you seen Cello Wars by The Piano Guys? It’s twice the cool, sort of: http://youtu.be/BgAlQuqzl8o
AMAZING. I can’t wait to show my oldest daughter this one. Maybe it’ll inspire her to practice her cello more often (or maybe it’ll inspire her to finally tell her mother she hates the cello and that she has wanted to quit from the moment she started.) I particularly like the hypnotism at the end. I think I’ll show her that part first.
I’ve seen another video featuring that twitchy, dancing naked mannequin. If something like that ever bounded down my street, I would run out and buy a gun.
Flamethrower. I doubt bullets would do a thing except grab its attention. And no one wants that.
I like your thinking.
It’s called Going to the Store, and it’s not even a minute long. It’s the first. I’d post a link, but WordPress might think that’s spam.
I think WordPress is right, Lisa. 🙂
I’d seen the stormtrooper video, but not the behind the scenes.
That last one, though… I’m with you–I don’t know what I just watched, other than it has bad horror movie overtones. Anything that bends like that wants either your soul or your blood.
No.
It wants you to become just . . . like . . . it . . .
😀
