Something Cool: Pushpin Pointillism

Remember playing with pushpins and making little daisies and happy faces and rainbows or whatever?

Fifteen-thousand pushpins, a corkboard, a special frame to hold 40 pounds of plastic and metal, and Seurat’s blessing.

Cool.

    • I’m glad you like it, Lisa!

I think that’s what this artist does—creates art specifically to record the process as a performance. He has a YouTube channel, but I haven’t been able to explore it, yet.

    • Be careful! Janie so wants to try this, and when I told her we probably wouldn’t be buying her a huge corkboard, she said, “That’s okay—I can use the wall!”

Talk to me!
