After last week Clyota is pretty sure she knows who killed the Pressman’s wife–one John Anderson-Smith, on behalf of the Gladstone-Klein Corporation—but she doesn’t know why, after granting Jessica Sentinel-Beacon the Exclusive to the MoonShot story, that G-K would want her dead.  

Being Clyota, she asks.

“There is no proof, but I know it,” he said.  “I know it.  She was electrocuted, her data files erased without need for override codes.  The datacrystals are gone, no doubt crushed to powder.”  He shook his head.  “She was given the exclusive only so one simple murder would kill the entire story.”

  1. So few words for such a crushing realization. And the worst part is this is so familiar. Because it can (and I’m sure has) happened. Sorry for such a late reply. A little loopy from being sick.
