Six Sentence Sunday is open to all writers. Just pick a six sentence passage from anything you’ve written—published, unpublished, whatever—and post it on your blog on Sunday.
Registration for the upcoming Sunday list opens the previous Tuesday evening at 5pm CST. More information is here.

I realized that it was stupid to care; it was a given that the Pressman had been using me to get a story, and I had made obvious assumptions about his motivation—it never would have occurred to me that the story might not be his primary focus. Why it mattered that he had a personal reason rather than a professional one, I didn’t know, or why it hurt, just a little, that he hadn’t told me any of this before.
I rolled my eyes. After all, it was all about me and my feelings, wasn’t it?
Or maybe the problem was that it never seemed to be about me?
